Square Enix registers Final Fantasy XIII-3 domain, XIII-2 due to release in 2012

Final Fantasy XIII-2

Square Enix is planning ahead for the day the company releases Final Fantasy XIII-3, as it appears the company has just registered the domain name finalfantasyxiii-3.com through Corporation Service Company (CSC), a corporate domain registrar that provides trademark services.  Square Enix and its gaming companies have used CSC for other game domain purchases such as HeroesofRuin.com and Deusex.com.

According to Whois records, finalfantasyxiii-3.com was registered on September 7, 2011. 

But if the purchase is more than just part of the company’s intellectual property strategy, it’ll be awhile before anything is seen. 

Square Enix is expected to release Final Fantasy XIII-2, the direct sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, in January 2012  — nearly a year and a half after finalfantasyxiii-2.com was registered and 2 years after talk of a sequel began.

    I don’t give a shit about Final Fantasy XIII-3 domain. I just want them to finish KH 3.  Have they realized how long KH fans have waited for them to continue the series. KH BBS was good since it introduced new characters and storyline that had nothing to do with playing as sora or ricku. As far as KH Dream drop distance, I don’t care about it. We have all played with Sora  and ricku before. Just finish KH 3. They have no idea how many KH fans are upset after hearing about this.

    Final Fantasy XII took a long time to be released, but the wait was well worth it. Its qualities are undeniable, as this is a long adventure that’s both immersive and highly recommendable. The game looks superb, sounds really well, the gameplay blends in seamlessly with the combat, and it includes some really interesting characters. Yes, it does all this by changing some rules, but once you have an opportunity to rediscover the world of Ivalice once again, you’ll probably be there for a long of time. Final fantasy xii

    To be honest if they make a third one please make it a movie instead because I dont want to spend an hour or so playing the game and getting nowhere.

    please hurry dont make us wait that much we need it as quick as you can , dont be late for us  and let us wait all that time  we begin waiting from now .i cant wait too long to see the end of this story……….and please find away for lightning to get back as origin character in the third installment okk.what about the ff13 versus we hope not to be late more than 10 years hahahahaha hey guys r u nuts what sourt of game is this it should be here from a long time hurry up!!!!

    You all realize that this was done solely by the North American Branch, right? Square Enix Japan, the ones that develop the games, has stated that it will end as DLC and there will be NO third game. If there is, it won’t even start development until at least 2016, due to all of the games they are currently making, which include Versus XII, Kingdom Hearts 3 after that, Kingdom Hearts 3D, FFXIV 2.0, among others.
