Ubisoft moves to trademark Drawsome Sketch Quest and Drawsome with USPTO

Game developer and publisher Ubisoft, which is rumored to be developing a tablet for its own games, has moved to trademark ‘Drawsome Sketch Quest’ and ‘Drawsome’.

Earlier this month, the company purchased domain names around the word ‘Drawsome’ that included DrawsomeTablet.com and DrawsomeSketchQuest.com.

The trademark application for Drawsome (Serial Number: 85416006) covers: Computer game controllers for electronic video game machines; computer game programs; computer game software; computer hardware; electronic game machines in the nature of video output game machines for use with external monitors or televisions.

The filing for Drawsome Sketch Quest (Serial Number: 85417329) covers: Game software and electronic game programs, namely, software games recorded on CD-ROM and digital video discs for computers; software games recorded on CD-ROMs, digital video discs, and cartridges for console and individual, portable gaming systems; software games that are downloadable from a remote computer site.

Ubisoft registers DrawsomeTablet.com, other names as rumors of tablet continue

Rumors around the internet of an Ubisoft tablet called Project InTouch have been picking up even more, after an internal marketing video was discovered on Vimeo.

Now Ubisoft has responded by registering a handful of domain names around Drawsome, one of the first games possibly slated for its rumored tablet device.

The domains include DrawsomeTablet.com and Drawsome-Tablet.com.

Ubisoft acquired six domains in total, all on September 6.
