In August 2010, G4 announced its plans for Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan, a documentary series which follows a U.S. Navy Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) unit during its training and deployment to Afghanistan.
The series is set to premiere October 25 and the website (http://www.g4tv.com/bombpatrol) went live in late August.
E! Entertainment Television (a sister channel of G4) has now registered the domain names BombPatrol.com and BombPatrolAfghanistan.com on September 12, and immediately began re-directing users to the official website.
