Google registers a slew of API, Third Party and Untrusted Content domains

Recently there has been some news about a delay in Google releasing the Google+ API (application programming interface) to developers, unless you happen to be a “Trusted Tester”, then the wait may be days instead of months.

Now just days after the blog activity, Google has gone ahead and registered several domains related to APIs, third party content, and untrusted content.

The domains include web addresses such as,, and

I’m not sure these registrations mean anything more than Google purchasing names as part of their IP strategy or whether information will be published to any of them online.  At the time of this story, none of the URLs resolve to a website.
