DreamWorks registers domains for something called Shrek’s Thrilling Tales

While DreamWorks Animation may have no plans for a fifth Shrek film, it does appear to have something in store for the fairy tale ogre, according to several new domain registrations that center around: Shrek’s Thrilling Tales.

On March 19, DreamWorks Animation L.L.C. registered,,,, as well as the dot-info and dot-biz.

I won’t bother speculating on the company’s plans for the names, because the possibilities are endless — a film, a theme park ride, a spin-off, a video game, a musical?

No official announcement has been made by DreamWorks nor do any of the domain names resolve to a web page at the time of this story.

Is the Dreamworks Animation film ‘Rise of the Guardians’ getting a new title?

It appears DreamWorks Animation’s Rise of the Guardians set to release in November 2012 may be getting a new name – one that more highlights the film’s lead character ‘Jack Frost’ played by Chris Pine.

Formerly titled The Guardians of Childhood, then changed to Rise of the Guardians, in the past week DreamWorks Animation has registered well over a dozen domain names that hint at the name change like,, and many more.

Here’s a look at several of the domain names acquired this week by DreamWorks Animation:

According to the press release issued last January by DreamWorks, the epic 3D adventure will also star Alec Baldwin as North (Santa Claus), Hugh Jackman as Bunnymund (Easter Bunny), Isla Fisher as Tooth (Tooth Fairy) and Jude Law as Pitch (The Boogeyman).

DreamWorks Animation’s Madagascar 3 gets a name: Europe’s Most Wanted

It appears Madagascar 3, which is due out in 2012, has a name.

According to several domain name registrations by DreamWorks that included and, the third installment of Madagascar will be called Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted.

On September 9, DreamWorks Animation L.L.C. purchased the following names for the animated film.

DreamWorks also registered a slew of other names for its upcoming “Penguins of Madagascar” movie and names for characters.
