Samsung files trademarks for Galaxy Emerge, Stellar, and Halo smartphones

On March 2, 2012, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. submitted trademark applications for the Galaxy Emerge (Serial Number: 85558647), the Galaxy Stellar (Serial Number: 85558639), and the Galaxy Halo (Serial Number: 85558619).

The goods and services described in each trademark filing with the United States Patent and Trademark Office covers “Mobile phones; Smartphones“.

The Samsung Galaxy S II was recently named “Best Smartphone” by GSMA at Mobile World Congress 2012. 

According to The Verge, “Samsung’s much sought-after Galaxy S III was on track for an April launch, but the company itself has taken to Twitter to refute these claims.”

At the time of this story, not much is known about Samsung’s plans for the Galaxy Emerge, Galaxy Stellar and Galaxy Halo smartphones.

Samsung files trademarks for Galaxy Axiom, Awaken, Heir, Rite smartphones

With the Mobile World Congress less than a week away, Samsung has filed four new trademarks for smartphones with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

On February 16, 2012, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. submitted trademark applications for the Samsung Galaxy Rite (Serial Number: 85545292), the Samsung Galaxy Heir (Serial Number: 85545288), the Samsung Galaxy Awaken (Serial Number: 85545285), and the Samsung Galaxy Axiom (Serial Number: 85545284).

The goods and services in every single trademark filing cover the exact same thing: “Mobile phones; Smartphones”.

Samsung has yet to officially announce any of these new smartphones.

Samsung files trademarks for ‘Samsung Joy’ and ‘Samsung Fresh’ smart phones

With the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) now in the rear-view mirror, it’s the Mobile World Congress taking place in Barcelona in February where Samsung is expected to unveil its newest smart phones.

The company’s latest trademarks may offer some clues as to the names of the devices.

On January 13, 2012, Samsung filed two separate trademarks for the Samsung Joy (Serial Number: 85515853) and Samsung Fresh (Serial Number: 85515850) with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The goods and services in both filings cover  telephones; smart phones; mobile phones; computer software for mobile phones, portable media players and handheld computers.

Samsung has yet to officially announce the Samsung Joy or Samsung Fresh

The Mobile World Congress is just over a month away.

Samsung files trademark for ‘Samsung Galaxy Sleek’ smart phones and tablets

With the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Nexus rumored to be released on December 8 in the United States on Verizon, it appears Samsung is already planning its next device called the ‘Samsung Galaxy Sleek’.

On November 23, Samsung filed a trademark application (Serial Number: 85480030) with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the ‘Samsung Galaxy Sleek’. 

The goods and services covered in the trademark application cover:  Telephones, smart phones, mobile phones and tablet computers.

Samsung often uses the word ‘sleek’ to help describe its smooth and polished smartphones and tablets. 

So far Samsung has not made any announcement about the Galaxy Sleek.
